Regulated pressure equipment, including boilers and pressure vessels, are subject to Jurisdictional Inspections in the Province which they operate. These inspections are intended to validate that equipment is safe for continued operation, and it is the responsibility of the equipment owner to ensure these required inspections are executed. Depending on the Province with which the equipment is operated, the inspections must be carried out by the Jurisdictional Authority or an Authorized Boiler Inspector.

CMI Services is accredited by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessels Inspectors (NBBI) as an NB-369 Authorized Inspection Agency (AIA) and holds a Certificate of Authorization from the Technical Standards & Safety Authority (TSSA) as an Accredited Inspection Agency. This authorizes CMI Services to perform regulatory in-service and repair inspections of Boilers and Pressure Vessels in Ontario via the Regulatory Authority or an insurer authorized to undertake Boiler and Machinery Insurance.

CMI Services highly qualified boiler and pressure vessel inspectors are Commissioned NBBI In-Service Inspectors and carry a Certificate of Competency from the TSSA. In addition, our inspectors offer numerous industry recognized credentials and a breadth of knowledge with decades of experience as both owner/user and 3rd party inspectors. Our unique knowledge and understanding of effective Mechanical Integrity programs allows CMI Services to conduct our inspections from a truly holistic perspective few can match.
